Well, I am currently working on a dofollow blog finder which takes keywords that you type in and searches for blogs without nofollow tags. Right now it works fine with blogspot blogs. I am curious on your guys opinion on what type of links matter. Would you also want nofollow blogs listed along with dofollow? Would you want this to be a desktop based application or web based? It takes about 5mins to search through about 100 blogs (based on internet connection), is that a reasonable timeframe? How much would someone be willing to pay for an automatic dofollow blog finder?
I personally would want only dofollow blogs and desktop based. As far as the time goes I think that is a reasonable amount. It would be nice if it could also tell you how many outgoing links are on the pages it finds. I think $20-$30 would be a reasonable price for a dofollow blog finder, but I think you need to add more types of blogs to search and offer some other features, like PR etc. Hope that helps
Thanks for the tips and yeah I plan on including a pr checker. The outgoing links would also be a good idea.
this would be nice software if you inculded PR and outbound link. you can sell it for $20-$30 but I think it will be better if you distributed for free and have a place for a banner ads
Wow good idea. I really think it could be successful especially if for free you could get like a list of 5 so people could try it out first. PM me when it's done
i can buy the software just in $5..................thats my price no reason that it is low or high...............and you need to make it web based application not desktop based....................then you can earn a very good money with this software.......
Most people are completely uninterested in blogs that are nofollow. However, I would like the app to be able to list blogs with either nofollow or dofollow - user defined setting, with the PR, alexa rank, and moz rank listed next to each site name. It doesn't matter to me which type of app it is, though desktop would be faster as your server wouldn't have to serve the requests for all the users. The timeframe is very slow - I could, using advanced SE queries, find 100 blogs in probably 10 minutes, that's roughly 8 dofollow blogs in that time. Though it would take me longer to determine which was do or no follow. Either way, an app that someone is paying for should be faster. Searching through 50 blogs per minute would be reasonable. For an app that could find blogs related to my keyword input, capable of displaying either dofollow, nofollow, or both with PR, alexa rank, and moz rank, searching 50 sites/minute, I would pay about $40
