Y'all are missing the point here. The Do Follow movement was started to give regular readers of your blog linky love. It is hard to do because Google periodically takes page rank away from do follow bloggers.

I have 5 do follow blogs. Any comment with key words instead of or in addition to the blog name are not published. Why? I can tell if someone is just posting for linkback or has actually read the post. Many people post the same comment on all of my blogs, so it is very easy to spot. Usually the comments are on older posts. Some people actually copy part of my post and put that as their comment... like, I wouldn't notice?

If you are putting up SPLOGS (not blogs, just Adsense ads and duplicate content) and expect to get backlinks for do follow bloggers, you will be disappointed.

Try having a real blog, writing real and valuable content and visiting other blogs and leaving comments. Join Blog Traffic Exchanges, Blogging Communities and take part in Community activities like Blog Action Day.

My hat is off to the fellow who is making money writing comments on do follow blogs. That is original, anyway.
