Do seach engine spiders still follow "do follow" comments, since so many people seem to be doing this these days ?

Will Google punish a site if they see too many comments from blogs in a short time frame - e.g. 25, 500 and more in less than a week ? Or will they not count these links to your site over time ?

 

I cannot speak for the future, but at this moment, it works. Major search engines update their ranking algorithm from time to time, but at least now, it works.

Though, it all depends on whether the link building exercise looks natural or not. Number of links built is only one of the many factors when considering whether it is natural or artificial.

I'd like to say that exactly the same story is with my order.
I've check the list the OP provided and didn't find ANY links. Nothing.
I've asked the OP and he send me new list, links to 2 active links and promising to send list of active links in a week.
Today is the deadline, I've checked both lists (first and second) and have found nothing..
I have some suspicions and will be happy if I'm wrong...

 

No, that's actually not the same story.

Bravegoat ordered a large pack for his game site and the acceptance rate was lower than what it should have been for a pack of that size and a site of that nature. I have done a first re-run of his task and already yielded a normal rate of acceptance for that particular re-run within the past 7 days. I also emailed him to confirm that. A second re-run has been scheduled for him this weekend and I'm expecting a similar acceptance for this re-run.

You also ordered a pack with me and experienced low acceptance rate, I've helped you to do a first re-run of your order just like I did for bravegoat. But unlike bravegoat, the acceptance rate for your site was still low. Why?

There is a very fundamental difference between your site and his: bravegoat has never used blog commenting for his site before, his site is not in any spam database; but you did used blog commenting before. You had a link building campaign mid April with another service provider, he blog commented around a thousand posts. I have no idea whom you hired to do the task, but I can tell you that highly likely he got your site into the spammer's database through that project. How? He did lots of things that made him look like a spammer: commenting to the exact same post twice within 20 minutes with two different comments linking to the same site; posting excessive urls in the comments;... etc. So I'm sure your site is still in the spammer's database and that's why your site is getting a low acceptance rate.

Nonetheless, I was trying hard to get you a higher acceptance rate. If you have checked your gmail, you would have noticed that I have already done your second re-run. Through all these 2 re-runs, I have actually doubled your original order size without charging you any extra. Though, since I have no idea what exactly have your previous service providers done, it would be almost impossible for me to save your site out of the spammer's database.

That's why it is very important to get someone who know what he's doing to handle SEO. Top SEO consultants charges $1000/hr not for no reason. You're putting your site at risk if you're not careful.
