What do they mean? I've been seeing this a lot lately but have no clue as to what it means. Can someone give me a good explanation of this? Thanks so much!

And, as far as nofollow goes, there are just certain sites that are nofollow and nothing can be done about it? I was able to take the nofollow out of my blog though. I'm just trying to wrap my head around where to get good backlinks going. I've checked out my backlinks on a backlink checker and it seems either 1)it doesn't list everywhere I've put a backlink or 2)the places I've put backlinks aren't doing me any good. Or 3) I just don't understand it and I should just keep doing what I'm doing and ignore what the backlink checks say. Haha. IDK...

Ok. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but a backlink is any link you "leave" somewhere, right? Forum siggy's, links in blogs, links on fb, twitter, links in emails, links in directories, etc. etc. Cause if that's the case, I've left a lot of them but only certain ones seem to show. I really do appreciate all your help!

    Number 3 for sure.

There isn't a backlink checker available which will show you ALL of your backlinks. Third party tools rely on data from the search engines, Google does not provide the full list of backlinks and whilst Yahoo does, it's indexing is slower and thus less accurate.

Now that you know what dofollow and nofollow links are, forget about it. Just keep building links to your site because whether they are dofollow or nofollow is really quite irrelevant. People spend far too much time looking for dofollow links when they could just as easily be building nofollow links and getting quality click through traffic.

There is no evidence proving that google does not count no follow links....they can say that they will not count them but who says they arent and just telling people so that the system doesnt get abused...google will tell stuff just to throw us off...guaranteed they know what we are doing and they dont like link building that is not natural..but I have proven that no follow links have some value and do contribute to my high rankings
