I have built 5 moths ago a hostel website named cuscowasi.com, but in that moment when I searched in google with "cusco wasi" it was in the first position I don't know why right know doen't appear in any position I think the site is optimized and one keyword that I use is "cusco wasi" Please any help to DP expert in SEO
When you build a new site, it tends to jump around in positions. Did you continue to add backlinks on a regular basis? Did you check if some of your backlinks got removed? Are you using any black hat spamming methods that would penalize your site? There is plenty of possible reasons why your site has dropped in rank or not even show up on google
I just searched for it and it came up #2 in the US version of Google. I agree with yakuzax, Google sometimes shifts things around to see what searchers like better. Keep building links and keep adding content if you want good long term search engine exposure. It looks life very little optimization has been done so far. Keep studying SEO.
Your site ranks #2 in Google.com when I search as well. According to Yahoo! Site Explorer you have only 2 inbound links from external sites and they are both from tagzania.com. The ONLY reason you rank #2 even is that your domain name is an EXACT match for the search phrase. With little effort and a dozen or so links with "cusco wasi" as the link text, you would likely jump to #1. If you're trying to rank in some other country specific view of Google's index like Google.co.uk, Google.co.in, etc. then you will need to set the Geo Targeting preference in Google's Webmaster Tools to the corresponding country. By default ALL non-country-coded TLDs (.com, .net, .org, etc.) are assumed by Google to be targeting the US or multiple countries (global) so they assume you want to rank in Google.com.
