You’re going to make yours stand out with a few simple tweaks. The most important rule is to change your bio box for every niche you write in. Your credibility with your audience takes a nosedive if you tell them you write about everything under the sun. When you write an article about dog training refer to yourself as a “the owner of a formerly unruly dog.†Connect your name to the subject of the article. Instead of leading with your name, start with a question. Think of your resource box as a micro sales letter. Your article was written to inform, and these three to five lines are written to sell. Asking a question will immediately get the reader involved. In fact, your name doesn’t even have to appear in the bio box. You can write it in the first person and connect with your reader even more. Tell your audience that they can solve their problem by clicking your link. The “for more information†line is boring and doesn’t get people motivated to click. They want solutions, not just more information. Hiding your affiliate link will not only make your link more memorable, but it will prevent you from getting booted from several article directories. Some directories prevent using a “redirect†link, so you’ll have to set up a squeeze page. Register a name that relates to your niche topic, and hide that ugly affiliate link. Ordering Information
