So i wrote this article on how to make your site work in IE7, and i was wondering if people here had been actively checking their sites in IE7, with the upcoming release of IE7 to the bigger public...
I checked a while ago aswell. Most of my general audience (I have spoken to) use FireFox or Opera. The majority do not use IE. Therefore I usually try to code to both standards but if IE is being really "problematic" I will stick with the FireFox standards.
I agree with Rich. IE doesn't only have to many security problems but the extra feautres they've is kind of like the X-Box 360 issue: Released but not ready. Don't know if any else has experienced this yet, but you will eventually.
If you'd like to see how your site looks in IE7 without installing it, Dan Vine updated his browser capture site to capture IE7 a few months ago, and it works great! http://www.danvine.com/iecapture/ As for IE7 issues, I've not seen any on the site's we've done in the past couple years (haven't checked them all though).
