Does your signature make you any money?

I've gotten quite a few referrals through the links in my signature. It has also helped my websites get indexed much quicker

 

basically what you do is put an advertising link in your signature of some one else site.this can be done in link sales.

 

I didn't earn anything yet from my sig links but I hope to earn in future

 

for a permanent spot? or just for one month?

My sig links amke around 50 to 70 a month

 

$30 a month i amking right now with my 4 signature links,avatar and blogfeed

 

You have to be active if you want to make any $$ with your siggy!

 

I do make some money renting my siggy, one is currently available for rent

 

I think it did made me some pocket money, but not too much...

 

It's all for the cash. I do specify that I won't take any thing that links to porn, hate sites, anything illegal, etc... But no, having the links in my sig is not necessarily an endorsement of the site.

 

My signatures help me indirectly to earn some extra bucks by way of providing backlinks

 

Well, it seems to be very effective.

I have been thinking of adding a signature for some time. The only reason I have for not adding it, is because when I was a lurker in this forum I noticed that some members are really mean.

I recall that one member started clicking on the adsense ads of another member to get him banned from adsense just because he did not like the answers he received from that person.

Of course!, I endorse them, but that doesn't help me determine how effective the signature can be.

 

I would say my signature is worth at least $xxxx a year in business that it has driven - but that is more a reflection of the attention some of my posts get.
