Hi, does the country you are registered with effect the ads that show up when people visit your site? I am in Japan and sometimes when I check out one of my sites it has both english adsense ads and Japanese adsense ads. Is the "title" the most important part in determining what kind of ads (and language of those ads) or the country you are registered with, or something else? What ever country I am registered with, I want Japanese only ads on sites that some people visit and english ads on sites that other people visit and the same for a whole bunch of other languages. Tom
what kind language do you use for your site?? you can't control the ads, it show with keyword targeting and keyword content hope this will help
Yes, geotargeted ads. On Google you can advertise only in certain cities, states, regions, or countries.
Yeah, location affect the ads that appear on one's site. When I see my site, I often see ads directly targeting my country.
Thanks for the replys. On one page I am using Japanese only for the title, the little bit of text and for a number of meta tag keywords but the ads always come up in english with unrealated topics even though I am accessing the page with a Japanese system computer from Japan. I want to have Japanese targeted ads showing up on that page. Any ideas as to what I can do? Tom
Yes ! location affects the ads that appear on the site. When I see my site, I often see ads directly targeting my country. You cannot control the ads as they appear automatically according to the key words. Regards Tehmina
That is what I thought too but everything on the page is in Japanese concerning english conversation but the ads are comming up in english about totally unrelated matters.
There are two things you must not confuse: 1) As you said: "the country you are registered". If you mean the country in which you recieve your payment, than this does not affect the ads that you are displaying. 2) The country in which your site that displays the adds is localised in is important. If you got a site localised in Japan whit related content, then ads will match. If your site brings US visitors, has content in english and is localized in US then you'll get US adds. It has no connection whit where you recieve your payment.
I think this depends on language . You must be using mixed language of some famous well known japanese keywords in your posts that's why you re facing soo . I have a tech blog and did not saw any other ads on my blog till yet .
Maybe the problem is that the site is in Japanese Language but I have it hosted at host gator which I think is a us based server. Would all site hosted on a US server get English Language ads even though the site's text is in a different language?
if someone open ur site frm japan the he may see Japaneses ads, same time if someone open it from China then it might show chines ads. u can't control ads appear on ur site.
there might be some messed up local google database of proxies... it will return to the normal ways in 24 hours or so... be patient
The language and the ad that shown up in the pages can't be controlled by us. SO if you use the Japanese as your language then your site will show Japanese ads and there is no guarantee that it will show only ads in Japanese or only in English.
