I have a question about a certain blog that I am using and I was wondering if it restricts google in anyway from crawling it effectively and getting the posts indexed. here it is: http://www.dezzain.com/featured/dezzain-free-wordpress-theme-zoxengen/ Please let me know. Hey by the way does anyone know how to make a drop down menu where the main horizontal menu is. That would be awesome.
That theme appears to be SEO friendly. Nothing I see from a quick glance that screams, "search engines will not like me" One thing I look at is crawl-ability. If Google were to crawl this site, would it be able to find all of the pages on it's own?
No. The theme is Googlebot friendly enough. The only thing that would prevent google from indexing you is if you have the rel="nofollow tag" on your theme.
Everything looks fine to me except you have too many links on your website's page. Here's a sample from SubmitExpress Meta Tag Analyzer: Web page analysis. This page contains too many URLs. This tag contains 143 urls. Some Search Engines have problems with more than 100 urls on a page. I guess that's self explanatory.
I see your theme and I don't find any problem with the theme, maybe you need to optimize your content.
The theme you use can really affect your SEO, but you can usually get around it with plugins etc. I generally use professional themes as they've been developed with SEO in mind, but some of the free ones are great as well. Your doesnt look to bad.
Wordpress is SEO friendly enough with the free plugins they have that a theme will not really effect it unless it was designed very poorly or purposely to effect SEO negatively
