Like an already existed post but you edited it like you added more info

 

"Content is king" if you delete or block any content ,you can lose ranking .Similarly if you add quality content ,you can get good rankings.

 

I think it depends on the seriousness. Some webmasters can use a 301 redirect to redirect to a completely different styled page and retain the original page rank of the first one.

 

Not completely change, just change a part of it.
