    It only accepts quality websites, so that's like the credit from yahoo to good sites..

    It's so sad that Yahoo has lost it's position to google and facebook, not ranking #3 position, it used to be my favorite just before the millennium, but could it ever fight back?

    PR is patented and is used only by G.
    Any one here know what is the main factor to rank in Yahoo?
    It seems that back links is not the main factor in Yahoo (if it does, most of the sites that rank well in G will also rank well in Yahoo, but it doesn't seem so)

    No page rank is only for google. But note that nowadays, page rank has little effect on search result. Both google and yahoo has their own ranking factor, so if you do well on one, it doesn't mean you'll do well on the other. But it is true that yahoo put more focus on on-page SEO, i.e. the actual content of your webpage.

    Both Google and Yahoo have different system for PR and give outcome for searches in different manner. So you can not rank your website at same time with same method both on Google and Yahoo.
