I'm creating a Japanese Directory & noticed something that Yahoo Japan has done. Right now the directory is getting good rankings on many of the other Japanese search engines. I'm trying to target a few one word keywords & can probably do it but then I noticed. If someone searches for blue widgets I'm getting hits from other search engines & even Yahoo. I then checked for Blue Widgets in Yahoo & they show results from all over the web. I'm not getting any hits from Yahoo yet for just Widgets I do a check for Widgets & Yahoo shows 7 to 10 pages of it's internal directory links & sponsored links. My site will never show up in Yahoo at this rate for "widgets" Oh also this is Yahoo Japan I'm talking about.
