Does Yahoo Directory's Express Listing really only take 7 days?

    Ive submitted an express listing at the beginning of the month...
    They say guaranteed 7 days...
    What if its day 14 and still no news? :confused:

    not guaranteed you have decline chance. But usually they accept within 2 weeks.

    I understand I have a chance of not getting listed.. What I was referring to was the "7 day review" guarantee... Is it normal to have no reply in over two weeks?

    Yes, for paid submissions they do. You also have the option to appeal the decision within 30 days of the rejection email.

    Yes, the fee is for a review so if you're not listed, you're out the fee.

    I don't know of anyone not getting listed. I do know of a few who had to appeal.

    it took me 6 days from payment until listed, and recived 1 email to say i am getting listed, and will be featured in there whats new page, in a day or so.

    Sounds like they may have a wrong email addy for you. I've never been rejected, and I've been approved at about the 7 day time frame in the past.

    Before you spend the money, I'd make sure that the site meets the minimum guidelines - no bad links (404's), contact info on the site, etc.

    But then I would see it being rejected or accepted, which I dont see in the Listings Management Center. This is really strange...

    Depending on the category it can take more than a few days. But I submitted 3 of my sites through the paid option and they was acceppted in about 3 days. You will know when you have been accepted because they will send you an email.
