I have submitted my site to Google but I have not done it with Yahoo. Is it still free like Google? if so, how can I do it? Thanks!
Yes it's free, but I suggest using some free engine submitter to submit to serveral sites at one. I suggest using http://freewebsubmission.com/ Just make sure to use one of those temporary email addresses for registering.
It is free to submit to Yahoo, but if you want to be listed in their directory you have to pay $299 a year if I am not mistaken.
Thanks for all your helpful information. I will try to do it tonight. By the way, could you please let me know how I can make such a linked signature like yours ? Thanks! Azvina
Free to submit it to the yahoo search robot..but cost's money to list it in the Yahoo directory (not really worth it in my opinoin - the directory that is)
You must have a Yahoo ID to submit to the search engine for free. Submission to the directory cost you $299 and $600 for an adult site. (Both prices are recurring anual fees).
The search engine is 100% free. You can submit manually (including your RSS feeds), but I recommend some mass free submitter. The directory costs $300 for a normal and $600 for an adult submission, but its supposed to help your rankings quite a bit.
