I have one of those manager type chairs for working at my computer. However I think I would be better off with something that has better support. Whats the best type of chair for working at a PC?
Thanks for the link DON. It will be helpful to me since i'm looking to buy a chair to avoid back pain.
A good chair is necessary but I think good posture is much more important. Don't hunch over your keyboard - sit up straight !
I had back pain issues and I still have them sometimes. Only solution in my opinion is physical activity so at least have a long walk after you're done with your work, although running would be a lot better.
I had severe neck and shoulder pain from my old chair/desk setup. I ended up getting this chair- http://www.hermanmiller.com/Products/Aeron-Chairs It's helped quite a bit. You also need to make sure you get up at least once an hour to stretch or walk around a little bit.
i'm also experiencing backpain. i might just concider lying down the monitor on the upper deck of my bed facing down. then a wireless mouse and a folding keyboard attach on the monitor's face. would this solve my case?
If you don't sit properly, yes they do come... but usually, when you don't sit properly is when it's most comfortable leading to back pains - ironic isn't it?
It is essential to take breaks. otherwise, physical discomfort and mental fatigue will certainly start to show up, frequently.
Yeah as Crazy Rob mentioned, besides the chair, it is vital to have short breaks between your work. Otherwise you may be in danger of having back pain.
I never have any kind of back pain because the height of my chair feets the height of the desk. These parameters are quite individual so define for yourself how do you feel comfortable.
No back pain for me, however I get leg pains if I sit in one place too long, so I get a bit of exercise every hour or so.
long working hr in our pc, create back pain, headache and also in your eyes. so avoid it not your chair
