I want to buy new OS Win7 and keep using Office2003. My question : Can Win7 run my old Office2003 well ? I like to know before I buy Win7. Thanks / Regards
Ya, it should work. There won't be any problem. But I am using MS office 2007 on it. No problems yet. - Mr.President -
there won't be any problem, you can use microsoft office 7 with word 2007, because I also use this combination But u have to first download the compatibility pack to run this together
Yes it will surely work because it is still part of the Microsoft programs.I use even Office 2000 and no problems at all
You can check at Windows 7 Compatibility Center whether software that you own are compatible with Windows 7 or not. https://www.microsoft.com/windows/c...en-us/Search.aspx?type=Software&s=office 2003 - Dynashox -
Microsoft seems to have taken extreme measures to make 7 compatible with older applications. If something doesn't work, you can always re-install it in XP SP3 compatibility mode (or the settings that 7 will automatically provide for you) and it will work. I've even installed old drivers (for a Geforce MX videocard) made for XP on Windows 7 and they work flawlessly (except Aero, of course).
Yes, it should work. However, I think you should consider moving up to 2010 when it comes out. Has a lot more templates and improvements, although many people hate the new "ribbon".
I've got a brand new PC loaded with Windows7 and I actually haven't bother to upgrade any of my software. I'd say you should be just fine, especially considering that I'm using Office 2003 at this very moment with no problems whatsoever.
Yes it runs fine. I MSO2003 on Win7 on one machine in my office. It even makes Office look better because it uses the Win7 style toolbars & menus.
