Does Web mail takes time to receive/send emails ?

    It seems I am getting delayed mails on my web hosting mail account...
    is it usual ?

    Depending on mail server configuration, it may take some time but it is not the case for all.

    If you own your dedicated server then you will need to check the configuration or other stuff for delay email. If your site is hosted on shared server then you will need to contact your hosting provider.

    In btw, if you have smartermail interface then you may face some delay in receiving mail as Smartermail has feature called Greylisting to reduce incoming spam but you may face some delay to receive emails.

    some times mail will get stuck in the mail queue for varies reasons.

    Thats because of incompetent server admins.
    They should be monitoring the mail queues every now and then and rectify the issues.
