does using moneybookers work?

If you use the basic integration of moneybrookers, your clients are forced to first sign up for an account with moneybrookers before then can pay you for your product.

What I would like to know from those who have used this service, is that do people actually sign up for an account and pay you? Or does using this method result in lost sales?

From a consumer standpoint, I would not sign up with Moneybookers. I will use Paypal but usually just prefer to use Visa / MasterCard

I agree. No one will signup with MB. Only those will use it that already have the account with them.

Yes, there's loss since a lots of people dont like signing up and entering their personal info. Its better to use ccbil etc sites instead of Moneybookers if you use it as ONLY payment processor.

More important than registering is trust. People trust paypal because they know about it.

You can use moneybookers as an alternative to those who can't use paypal.
