I have 15,000 pages of unique content.. My secret? One word: User Generated Content! There is a page in my ebook (now free, in my blog) about why I think user generated content (aka, unique content) was important to the success of my site. You can read it here (no spam, no ads) it will take you less than 2 minutes: http://success.grownupgeek.com/index.php/2007/07/06/ebook-series-user-generated-content/ ..
If unique content doesn't exist, why does anyone bother writing a book? Taking photos? Drawing pictures? My dictionary is far from unique content. I have photos from Flickr, the text I wrote myself condensing and simplifying other sources. But there aren't any other simple dictionaries with artsy fartsy photos on. And thanks to the guy with the $7500 rhyming site that wouldn't drop the price I now have rhyming word content. Again, not original, but it makes my site more useful. Not earning any money to speak of though because its not that kind of site, but it is certainly a lot of fun learning about new things and finding photos while I build the site.
you can outsource the articles to be written.make sure that they pass the copyright., also they do not use any bots to rewrit
