Does twitter send you an email when a follower direct mails you?

Or is the message only visible in Twitter?

If it doesn't send you an email, is there any free software that helps you out with that?

 

It sends you an e-mail when you get a dricet message. You can change this in your account settings.

 

Twitter does not send; however there any different tools which you need to set so that when you get any D.M. that tool will automatically send the notifications.

 

It does help as you get to know if there are people trying to hack your account. You get mails on the
same.
