Does twitter makes any money?

It's an old blog, I'm sure many of our DP members read it and many newbies didn't. I came across it just today. So I believe there are a lot of them like me, I think it worth sharing it.

I was surprised that they still don't make money.

 

I am surprised to this. Twitter having used by many users like facebook doesn't make money at all?
Well that is not good I think.

 

It looks to me that Twitter is a very well organized machine and lot of people use it to promote their companies. There is a big advertising share. Just look at iPhone.

 

I agree. With the amount of traffic, it seems that making money would be a no brainer. As with the previous post, the traffic from phones alone is huge. I seems, a well placed ad while serving up tweets would make them a ton of cash quickly.

 

Yea, many people do that.

 

I doubt it. They only have 12 employees and the site is always down.

 

Yes twitter doesn't make money, but they are going to launched business model of twitter very soon...
