Yesterday, while reading some tweets on Twitter, I’ve seen a guy asking about the influence of Twitter on our creativity, and I thought to blog about it as I think some people might agree with me and some might have different opinions - And this is the point from blogging :)

In my opinion, everything has advantages and consequences. Same for using Twitter, it has a positive and a negative influence on our creativity.

I agree with you, everything has positives and negatives so as you said in the poll, sometimes yes and sometimes no!

I really don't think that Twitter would improve creativity. In fact, I think it might degrade our writing skills and creative flow.

What twitter is doing is diverting the blog traffic. You do need creativity to tweet. You need to tell something different in just 140 chars and in 120 chars if you want it to RT.

Tweeting creativity comes by practicing, if you tweet each day you will absolutly tweet some useful stuff by the time. And the 140 chars limit is a creativity challenge, it makes you think about what is important to say!

Yeah, gone are the days when people use twitter just for things like "going to sleep" or "the weather is wonderful today"

Ones creativity is always put to test on whatever endeavor or undertakings he is doing and twittering is of no exception.

With twitter, you'd always need to be creative specially with your choice of words just to get away with its 140 characters limitation.

Personally I won't follow someone who tells me about what's he doing every 5 mins!

I just recently joined Twitter and I gotta say it can be a crazy place sometimes. You don't know who the heck is a real person or someone who is using someone elses picture to make more sales.

I think it's funny when I do look for people to follow and I see like the same profile picture 5 times with different names. All in the same niche.

High's & low's, I see much potential with Twitter and yes it does make me more creative because you have to adapt to make it work for you and at the same time you have to stay true to your roots on who you are or people will find out eventually.

I do believe Twitter is going to be cracking down on spam and fake profiles. I had read it on some news site yesterday on Twitter.

    cheers!

These are actually spammers, Twitter is full of spammers, however there are good users over there, you can really make an extra money to your pocket by doing marketing on twitter without spamming of course.

I can see some people voted for a 'yes'
They may share with us why they think it can't be a 'no' or both of them.
