As Twitter User, Blogger and Website owner I want to know if Twitter brings traffic to blogs or websites. Vote here: http://www.hiburrito.com/en/PollRotation.aspx?IdPoll=845
That's a smart move in getting your sites name out there. It's just a stupid way to do it though. You already know the answer, of course you're going to get traffic to your blog or website. Yugo,
Yes i am also getting good amount of traffic to my site and the amount is totally depends on our tweets, we have to post interesting tweets with our site link regularly during the day and also it's important to increase our followers. If more followers there is chance of more visitors to our site when we tweet but the difficulty is to get targeted visitors.
Twitter helps you build your followers comunity and keep them updated. So they visit back regularly . It increases your traffic many folds !
twitter is a great social media website and can be a huge traffic sender for you but you need to do it very sensibly make followers related to your website ... the most difficult thing is ...... convert ur followers into ur site visitors ... tweet inresting and unique content each time which should be attracted for ur followers ...... then they ll be turned into ur visitors
Yes, but only in case you have real followers. Some have thousands of followers (actually they get them by bulk following) but they are spammers and never read your tweets anytime. Twitter is also a great medium to spread your link, some guys they are active on other social media and they even help your links viral on their social media.
I think it helps a great deal depending on your "followers". Some people just use twitter to see what ever one is doing and it is hard to target EVERYONE for a particular website, or product but I can see why it is effective for some webmasters.
I suspect I am getting more bot followers than human followers on Twitter. Or perhaps it's just me. Not very helpful to site traffic at all as you might imagine.
I do get traffic from twitter, but I have noticed that it depends on what time of day I post my blog's link. If I post it when my real friends are online, I get a lot of retweets. If I happen to miss them then I don't get as high a response.
I am quite disapointed with Twitter, all the marketing gurus claim it is the best place for lead generation. You here them spot about how big there lists are. However from my experience it is just a new spam tool. All these new followers trying to sell me their junk. Maybe some niches will work but in general is a spam trap.
There is an awful lot of spam on twitter, but as I said before, the amount of traffic you get depends on the work you put into it. You're not going to get a lot of followers if you don't post often. You're not going to get traffic if the only time you ever post is when you're promoting something. You have to interact with people regularly. If you don't they won't pay attention to you. It's really that simple.
well....duh. I mean..obviously twitter gets you some traffic to your website. But it is not very targeted and there is very less chance that they click on the ads too. To get good traffic, you have to create unique and very good content, and get the interested people more, which will get you more money.
I can usually drive in 2000 to 3000 clicks on an average tweet on my account but again it depends on time and day as well but on average over 1000 clicks easily
Twitter brings me massive traffic. I have my members post my RSS into their twitterfeed.com and when content gets posted on my site it automatically posts to hundreds of Twitter accounts.
