Does Treadmill helps you lose weight? I mean how sufficient is it? I know ofcourse your going to lose some weight, but how good is it in losing fat?
Personally, I think an elliptical trainer is a little more effective. I've got bad knees so it's also nicer because it's less impact than a treadmill.
They work like a charm. A good way (I dont remember what the name is) is to sprint as fast as you can for one minute then jog for a minute then sprint for a minute etc. Do that for around 20-30 minutes a few times a week.
Depends on what you are doing with it. If you are only running/walking on it for 20 minutes at a time, then you are just getting a cardio workout and burning calories. For any fat burn, you need to stay on that treadmill for more than 30 minutes.
all you need is a jumping rope. if you are seriously about losing weight (given that you are not really that overweight) burpee is the best exercise ever
I love burpees.. I dont do them much though. My record is 100 in 7 minutes flat. As for the running... if youre not really in shape start with a jog for 30 minutes. If you have a little bit of fat that youre trying to get rid of do what I said in the first post.
Treadmills work wonders if you are willing to put some time and effort into it. I have a video of me somewhere running on a treadmill while drinking a pint of beer and smoking a cigarette.
Wowww I use the treadmill very often in the winter time, but when it gets warmer out I usually do enough running at track or I run around the neighborhood. But running is very good for you, so if you can, try to get into a habit of doing it
80% of weight loss is dieting. Look into H.I.I.T. runnings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-intensity_interval_training
I am working out at a gym for two years now. First and most important you have to have a diet. Low carb diet. The food is the most important in losing weight. I recommend ridding stationary bikes. If you run on Treadmill you will loose more muscle mass.
Healthy, clean foods. No processed junk. Veggies, Fruits, Lean Meats, Whole Wheat. Drink lots of water, people mistake thirst for hunger too often.
