Does transferring to another register re-propagates its custom nameservers?

I recently transferred one of my domains to godaddy, and my site went down this afternoon. I did choose to retain my nameserver during the transfer but im just wondering if registrars has to repropagate everything. my server seems fine though. :(

the transfer has nothing to do with the downtime.

The transfer from one registrar to another just involved an accounting entry change of sorts and it does not affect uptime in any way. It is just like if you change insurance agents, your policy still remains the same with the insurance company, the only difference is who would service you and get your commission :)

In most cases No, but that would depend if the nameservers were changed during the transfer.
