Hello members, Please tell me that Traffic comming from stumbleupon and its tool baar is good for Adsense ?
traffic coming from stumbleupon might not be targeted traffic specific to your niche. but its good for impression and exposure for your site, maybe some might even click on something. To me any traffic is good, at least for me for now.
As they are not targeted, you will get a very few clicks from them. It lowers the CTR by increasing the impression count which cause the low eCPM.
Who doesn't like some free traffic for a site but thats it ... not much of the traffic from stumbleupon or Digg would click on Ads.
It is really good. All you need is traffic to your blog. Its a best media so that your blog become lot more popular thus your adsense earning also increase.
From my experience stumbleupon traffic is very limited its only huge for a few days and does not convert to clicks (very low convertion rate). Its traffic is only good for popularity for a small time frame.
It generates more impressions for you website. But most of them dont return and not a good chance of them clicking the ads
if you are using adsense, then i would suggest you to stay away from stumble traffic. they dont convert and have high bounce rate which will give you higher impression, no clicks, and lower earning at the end.
Depends on how you look at it. Most of the traffic doesn't convert well but it doesn't hurt to have the extra traffic.
I don't really know if it is classified as good or bad traffic. All traffic that allows the user to come by choice is good, any traffic software that forces visitors to view ads that have your site in them is bad traffic.
Unless you can get on the front page of the social bookmarking sites, it's pretty useless except for crawling purposes.
Though the traffic from social bookmarking sites like stumble and digg etc are great and sometimes terrific if you manage to hit the first page, they are crap in the sense that they are not targeted and can't be converted. At the most, it will bleach your bandwidth...
you can't earn much with google adsense. you want to use CPM ads. it is a wonderful program. the best is adsdaq.
Search engine traffic converts best. IMO, the main reason to use social media sites such as SU, Digg, etc. is to be noticed by bloggers who will link to you. Links will improve your search engine rankings, which will in turn improve your search engine traffic, which will improve your Adsense earnings. Kind of a pain, isn't it?
