Hi guys, I wonder if any of you could help me out. It's always been my understanding that raw traffic to a site (as in number of impressions) doesn't actually affect your ranking. Is that the case? For example is there any reason to assume that a site with 100'000 impressions a day should beat a site with 20'000 impressions a day everything else being equal? I'm only asking because a few people have been telling me conflicting things. Thanks, Matt
I think the Backlinks are big fector for ur website rankings then traffic, but both compile ur rankings
yes traffic effects the ranking, the traffic and back links coming from high page rank site will help to increase site page rank in search engine.
until you will not get top ranking with high traffic and high Competition keywords because whenever you will not choose right keywords then never you will not get acceptance result...so all always try high Competition and high traffic keywords targets
Traffic on its own will not affect your ranking. But more traffic will probably lead to more backlinks, social bookmarks etc - so yeah, in a round-about-way traffic does affect ranking, but not directly. i.e. pay 1,000,000 people to visit your site will do nothing for rankings. But if 1,000,000 people visit your site in 'unpaid' traffic, it will probably generate a few backlinks thus increasing your ranking.
Traffic won`t affect the ranking at all, but it affects the future traffic. If you have 1.000 visitors per day, there is a change that some of them will return (among the new ones, the next days), and also a change that they will recommend the website to other people. So if a website has some decent traffic and content, it could grow without any SEO
If you mean about bounce rate ratio of traffics and website ranking factor. It has some but only minor factor actually since this one is easily to be manipulated as well.
I think traffic relative to Goog rank. But the most important factor is the backlink of your website.
Yeah, In SEO every factory affects ranking not only ranking but it effects page ranking also because if you have good quality back link then you will have good position in SEO. if you have good position for good targeted keywords then you must have good traffic. So in short in SEO everything Co-related
I do not think that traffic will affect the ranking as traffic and ranking are two different factors. As traffic is depend on how we promote site and how good is site content. Site ranking is depend on the backlinks which we get for the site through SEO technique.
I don't think so, traffic may affect your ranking. If you want higher ranking there is some other factors, like your backlinks, content, keyword density etc.
I have a site with PR3 but the site traffic is not so good because I submitted the site to search engine, social bookmark, just little. But it has more than 3500 backlinks to get PR3
I think yes. Traffic play a role in the ranking. If its a site with good traffic, it can be considered as a popular by the search engines and that can play a major role with the site rankings in search engine.
In My Opinion,Traffic does not affect rankings of websites,It's the back links from relevant niche and the content that affect the ranking for a website.
Traffic and ranking are two different things, as having more backlinks to the site then it effect the good PR for the site. And if site is promoting good way then it has good traffic to the site.
Yes Traffic Affect Ranking for Alexa rank not page rank page rank effect upon the count of back link and it will decide by Google of you have good quantity back link your website will be reward by high page rank by Google
