Does tracking / letter-spacing affect SEO?

    Hi everyone,

I am currently designing a website and since the text didn't look very well with the "regular" spacing, I adjusted the letter-spacing (tracking) in the html code. Its a lot better now, but my concern is: Does that effect SEO? Do the robots read text with a large letter-spacing differently or it doesnt matter?

Hope my worries are understandable. Thank you in advance!

    With regards,

    Tomas

No robots don't read the text any different. You can prove that by viewing you site as a robot would. I like the Lynx viewer (http://www.delorie.com/web/lynxview.html) for that.

Bots do read the css that your page is linked to. So, Make sure that it is wc3 compliant and there are no tricks like hiding text or links.
