considering that there are tons of places out there on internet to insert your site backlinks that will keep you busy the whole month.
As long it is a quality backlink then it won't hurt you... , Just to make sure, quality backlink need to have editorial control in it. So it won't keep you busy the whole month unless you aim for the low quality such as blog comment and etc2...
For 100 links you shouldn't worry too much, for 50.000 links unless they come from really reputable sources or you already have millions of incoming links you'll probably raise many red flags. The best option is to do it gradually, don't build 1000 links in a day and than nothing for a month, you'll be better off building 33 links per day per month every month. Quality backlinks are links coming from related relevant sources to your topic that are already indexed in google, have a decent PR and many incoming links of their own.
Yes to those who are advising not to build links too fast! Essentially, links must be natural to the Search Engines. I personally feel that blog comments are pretty lame as a strategy - unless its relevant. So, in the same way, build relevant links like those with editorial contents. Articles can be a good way to earn quality links.
more back links dose not hurts a website.... who say? too back links are good for keep your page rank and ranking regular.. Cheers!
Everything looks good in its limit. If you build thousands of backlinks in a week then it is sure that google is going to throw your site into sandbox.
Thank you all for replying. What you suggest about backlinks from social bookmarks like digg (PR 8) and some others..Should they be considered quality links.. I believe that article submission websites may be a good source of quality backlinks coz they allow you contexual deep linking.
yes article submission is very good in getting incontent links.Use the high traffic article sites especially.
unless you're doing some serious spamming I doubt you could ever add enough to raise flags at a search engine. I can never manage more than 20 good quality, on-topic backlinks a day. does me ok.
Agree with some of the posts above. If you're a new site, 1,000 links a month will look (and is) spammy. If you're well-established you have a lot more leeway. If you're doing it naturally (rather that with some automated directory submission/submitting to 1,100 directories in 2 months) you'd need to be going some to get into trouble.
It all depends on where you get the links from. Try getting 20/30 quality links a day and you should be fine. NO building thousands of links a day won't hurt your website if they're coming from high authority sites..
Doing anything in excess in a very short time always hurts. The process of doing such things should always look natural, not to raise red flag at big G. Regards, RightMan
