    Hi,

I wonder if too many link back from 2 -way link exchange hurt search engine rank?

What if the sites have similar content? is it still be problem?

    Thanks

Here's Google's answer on that question.

Just try to avoid any reciprocal links that are not very closely related to your content and you'll probably be fine. If in doubt about having too many, then quit.

Even still, Google probably minimizes the value of them, even if they are closely related.

I get people asking me for recipricol links every now and then, usually they are within my niche so I go for it. Sometimes they want excessively anchor text or descriptions and that can be slightly annoying.

Yes, too many and too quick links can cause a red alert to google or other search engines. Instead try natural link building techniquies or if you want to keep reciprocal links, stick with relevant links.
