    Hi,

I've started a new websites backup service and I try to keep it short and clean. Do you think it is clear enough? does it do the job (selling?)

It's a great idea! I had an idea like this a while back but I lacked the programming skills to create it. Congratulations. A better design and you're good to go!

It presents what you are offering very clearly and I suspect it will convert fairly well. That being said, you might want to reconsider your packages - 5GB is really small for some people and that's the largest size you are offering. That wouldn't even cover a single table in some of our databases.

    Good idea though :)

We compress the files so 5GB should be enough for a website up to 100k pages. But if it is for larger than that I would recommend to use different method.

do you think I need to write more about the product?

Not to criticize, but the layout doesn't seem professional enough. My biggest concern would be security, something that I didn't see addressed on the site. Whats to keep you from taking my data and using it to build a site for yourself?

There are plenty of hosting templates on the market that will give you that professional look you need.

The site looks good....kind'a light and airy......very nice.

BUT....if I didn't trust my host to do the backups, I would have to get another hosting account......

I wouldn't trust the hosting... it happened for me twice before with very good hosting that they had only a week old backup and they charge me for that as well.
It is better to use third party for backup or backup is yourself (just for backup the backup...)

The domain seems good, but maybe it's not easy to sell.I think the hosting provider will do backups for their customers or they will do it themselves if they are familiar with it.

How come your hourly backup only does a backup twice a day?
    (Source: "websitesbackup.com/packages.php")

Other then that small error I see no issues or problems, good luck!

I think it is a great idea. Didn`t see many services like that, other than what webhosting providers offer. But what they do, can`t compare to companies focusing only on backups.

As @formula said, don`t trust hosting companies, use your own hard-disks. It is safer, faster and 100% uptime :D

The design doesn`t really fit the profile of the company. It is a nice design, but not for what you offer. (my opinion)

Wow - they charge for backup? Lucky for me - I've pretty reliable hosting and they backup daily.

BTW nice site - it clearly define what it does.

well it would help if you changed this at the FAQ "Q: Where my files will be stored?
A: In our secure server." where my "files" will be stored it could mislead some people to actually think that you are going to backup their data, i would instead use "Database files" or something else.

    and also this part:
is really hard to see because the color of the text is brown and the background is almost the same color

Very nice work in your website . Nice service also.
You can also try to make the letters smaller
