Does This Qualify As An App?

    Hi all,

I distribute a free web directory script. It comes as a code snippet like Adsense (but instead of being on the side of a page it needs its own page).

I was able to make a version that I have working on my FaceBook page at http://apps.facebook.com/bungeebones/.

My question is about whether this script is indeed a FaceBook app or not. In the current situation anyone can get this script for Facebook by registering at my site, then copying and pasting the code for it on their own webpage on their own website. Then, they need to build their FaceBook "directory" page and use the FaceBook Iframe configuration and pull the page they just made into the Iframe. They will have a fully functioning and POPULATED (with categories and links) web directory on their FaceBook. The reason why I am reluctant to say it is an app is because it does not use faceBook to send or receive any data (everything works through the http of the iframe). From the technical sense it is nothing more than imported content for that FaceBook page.

What do you you all think ... should I call this an app or something else?

    Thanks.
