    I know it is real, but I don't think it is commonly referred to by the name you use. That is a common sexual term and I do not think that is how people refer to the dam overflow. Water Hole is a much more appropriate name, and one for which a search engine search will lead you to dam pictures, not disgusting porn.

    I've seen outlets in reservoirs kind of like that....much smaller though. The water in the one I saw went straight down probably 50' and then made a 90 degree turn and came out on the back side of the dam. When the water level fell below the level of the top of the tube, it just sat there. In fact, one summer when the lake got really dry, there was about 2' or 3' of the pipe sticking out of the water.
