Can you tell me if this page has errors in it? Mainly when loading? http://www.theforexnews.com/ Thanks!
Looks good in FF to me. The top left navigation box seems like it needs to be moved up a bit to match the right side.
very nice site, no loading problems for me at all. I like the hotbuttons at the top, and it looks like you have lots of good content.
I checked it with IE and everything seems to come up just fine. The only thing that irked me was your footer. You have this beautiful blue and white website and then have this black and red footer. Just didn't seem to match up to me....pretty nice site though, keep up the good work!
No errors here, Flock + Linux. By the way, I hate the black text in the Toolkit and Tutorial. Doesn't work with the aquamarine background.
Hello kastro_316 I had a look at your site today. My immediate thoughts are that it looks quite good. My Review Domain Name The domain name is something quite easy to remember. I know that it is more than two words... but it seems to do your site identification it needs. Logo Your logo is very well designed. Thumbs up for that one. I'm happy to see a very informative tag line that you have with the logo. It certainly helps users to understand what your site is about immediately. Template Overall.... the template is easy to follow. I've been testing your site with 3 different browsers. I found a problem in FireFox & Opera..... but seem to work fine in Internet Explorer. At the bottom of the page.... in the footer area... you will notice that the border color duplicates on some of the footer text links... and little white spaces appear to the left of these text. See image below: Recommendations for Template I also had some thoughts that might help the site a bit. First, the New to Forex banner could be reduced in height. At present, it seems to be enlarging the header area... more than it needs to be. Second, the FX Toolkit module on the left seems to be a little to low. I would recommend raising it so that it aligns properly with the top menu buttons. Forex News Page I found it confusing when going to your Forex News page. The template was totally different and made me feel like I was in another website. Also... this page doesn't look good in Internet Explorer. See image below: Forex Forum As with the news page... it brings me to a new template. Is it possible to integrate your forum to sit within your template? This way... your visitors will not get confused by having to open another web page... to get back to where they were... Navigation I like the navigation setup you have done. It is not to confusing. People can find out about Forex Trading by clicking on the New To Forex Trading button. I would recommend that you create a 'Home button' & a 'Contact Us button'. Conclusion Over all the site is great. Very informative and well marketed. This review was done with 3 browsers (FireFox 2.0.0.9, Internet Explorer 6.02 & Opera 9.24) on Windows XP SP2. I do hope this was helpful. Respectfully, Lhlalyam
Wow, thats for that GREAT review - I will take your suggestions and work on them! Thanks again, and thanks to everyone else!! Where should I put the Contact us button though?
i love the logo, the colors are great and i agree with Lhlalyam ,you should put and 'home' and 'contact us' button..its really important an button to the user back to the home page
Hello kastro_316 Glad you liked the review. As a suggestion: maybe you can create a new button just like the Forex Forum and place it just above the Forex Forum button. Hope that makes sense? Lhlalyam
