So not sure if it's worth mentioning? But it looks like Payperpost liked one of my model shots I'm the guy on the home page of their website on the left hand side: "He wants to create a buzz for his new product..." Comments/Complaints? Does it make me semi famous?
Cool. I assumed that picture was just some guy who worked at PayPerPost and got drafted in cause he was the only one who didn't look like a computer nerd I'm not sure if it makes you famous but I see your picture at least twice a day, and I'm a very important man here in the UK
Well thanks for the pats on the back.. I feel like a computer nerd half of the day and the other half I can't wait to get out of that suit. So I gues I'm leaning towards nerd but this nerd is always open to job possibilities
The funniest part of the whole thing is that it's not the only place I've seen my picture. I've also seen it on monster... I think it might be worth more. No No wait... even funnier is how this whole thing happened!! It was a complete fluke of incidents that has me questioning my day job to this very day... then again... everything has me questioning my day job
thats really cool! Now you can say you are "the pay per post guy"? They woudlnt put my ugly mug up there, might break monitors!
Very cool. The PayPerPost system seems like a cool concept. Is anyone registered who can share some experiences? Have you made any money so far by blogging about the topics advertised? Is this legit? Tom
I'm registered as a blogger. So far they've exceeded my expectations a thousandfold. Posts are approved very quickly and the payments come through on time and without any fuss. I'm just pissed that there were no companies like this when I started blogging 4 years ago. Back then an extra $30 or so each day would have really come in handy. These days I don't need the cash so much
My research says it's the real deal. Both as an advertiser and blogger, I'd suggest starting small and get a feel for the system. There are better and worse ways to leverage PayPerPost that you learn by doing -- many are discussed at http://boards.payperpost.com. I'd err on the side of disclosure, not overdoing it and picking opps that allow you to leverage your experience/creativity or bring something new/interesting to your audience. If you find your comfort zone the platform provides a nice feedback loop that encourages you to blog better and more often...
This sounds like a great plan.. I haven't actually hopped on the train myself, but I actually was considering it as another method to get some more backlinks for my arcade site. Do you believe it would fit in this niche? Or has the market been killed/flooded/overloaded with enough arcade topics already?
Actually, I haven't seen many arcade-related ad opps at PayPerPost. The topic can be entertaining (pun intended) so I'd expect decent uptake. I'd suggest some creativity in the opportunity description, such as "what was the first arcade game you remember and where did you play it?" (mine was Space Invaders, Tampa gameroom/poolhall) or "what are your top 5 arcade games of all time", then reference/review your site with a link...prompting quality content (rather than just links) provides a win-win-win for advertiser-blogger-audience...
This is great advice! I will have to try this in the near future, when I add some special additions ... As for the tip... I'm repping ya! Thanks again for the tip.
