Hello there Well , after a very long time i have launched my new website where i would be selling few digital goods , please let me know if the design looks good and also i need few suggestions on how to get more traffic to my site and sort of. http://availablekeys.com/ Thank you
The basics are there, really clear and simple cart, easy to use, however your large banner need some work out, that screen is pixelised and the colors are poor, try to get a proper logo too. Add what payment method you are accpeting in front, might be usefull. No TOS around either? A good project but a lot to do still
Thank you so much for your feedback sir , actually i have paid like 70$ for the whole thing and the guy had made me that site , i just gave him all the requirements and yeah i'm going to tell him to reduce the size of the banner plus i'm currently using Paypal as the method for accepting payments as it the safest and i really need to work on it more maybe. At the moment i haven't really made any sales or anything but currently selling them on eBay.
Honestly... No. For $70 he basically found you a free theme for some ecommerce software and did that terrible looking banner + wrote your logo in a ugly font, and used a drop shadow that is basically the same color as your logo which looks like crap - black helvetica neue font with letter spacing would work much better for the logo... He couldn't even go as far as finding you an icon that actually fits into the banner, he just stretched it from my guess is 64x64px so it looks stretched out as im sure you can see.. So you paid him $70 for like 1 hour of work (I could of done that in 10 minutes). If you don't have the money to hire someone to create a new banner, or he won't do a good job on it I would just remove it until you can find a nice banner... I think you should purchase a theme from http://themeforest.net/popular_item/by_category?category=ecommerce and hire someone to set it up and make it look good. Not trying to be rude but if your asking the truth, I shall give it to you bluntly. I mean the website is functional if thats all you really cared about but personally I would want it to look halfway professional and legitimate. I hate seeing people get taken advantage of by people who are only out to get their money, as little as $70 may be but still. Also if your going to sell stuff and people are entering credit card information get a SSL certificate for the sake of your customers. They're like $10 a year and I personally would never enter my CC details on a website without one - and I imagine many many more are the same way. Most hosts will install them for you. Edit: NVM you accept paypal only. still https is recommended because personal details are sensitive to. Good Luck!
