Does this idea make sense?

I came up with a way to get traffic to my website but I'm not sure that it will work it seems to easy to do. Can someone tell me if this idea makes sense or not.

Here's the idea

You join about 10 banner or link exchanges. Then you create a banner/link for your own website.

Then you create a second site and put just the banner ads on it.

Then you join an autosurf and have the autosurf go to the page with the banner ads and links.

You would then get a lot of banner impresions for your site quickly.

Is there a reason why this wouldn't work? I'm sure that more people would do this if it did work.

I guess it would work, but I am certain that it is breaking the tos of the banner exchanges and you will surely be banned.

 

It is not a good idea when it comes to autosurfs, because they will only use your bandwidth, this is not real traffic.

 

Your efforts should be directed to something more constructive.

Anything involvng "autosurfing" is a waste of time.

 

I think it may work , But i think the results or the profites from this traffic won't deserve wasting the time .

 

Anyone who cared would look at the site and know something's going on.

 

Most of the reputable exchanges check and approve their members sites so it probably wouldn't work.

 

Why cheat other webmasters? There are so many ways to get traffic that there is no need to cheat others.

 

I had the same idea too
I made 2 replicate website
1 with adsense and other with link exchange, banners exchange sites, all pointing to my adsense site.
Did joined autosurf programs that consumes a lot of time

Result ?
You will get clicks but very few.
Effort is too much
