Does this grab your attention?

I'm trying to design a good ad placement...

I know it isn't wide, but just wanted to know if it grabbed you. Yes, the little guy to the left is Humorzilla!



Any ideas would help me greatly and be much appreciated.

It's well designed . . .however what stands out is read.rate.rofl.

The line bellow and the line below that are too dark. They don't jump out as much.

The design is good IMO. Just get the text to stand out more (last two lines).

Yes, use a more brighter color. I like anything red but not too red.

The only problem is upping the color or changing the contrast the way you suggest makes an image that is less cool. This is hard for the owner of the site to like, even if it is tecnically better. Just a thought.

I think you can further increase the text contrast just like other posters have mentioned to increase the reader's attention

 

I like the design aswell and it gets my attention too, but as the other ones point out here maybe use some brighter colours maybe... think it will be more eye catching then ...

 

I like it, but I don't like the little creature. He seems less well drawn than the smooth fonts used? I'm just being picky maybe. Overall it's great.

 

I think that's a really nice design!

It would catch my eye more if you used an orange or something in one of the panels though.
