does this fall under "evil"?

    I use SEO elite to check back links to my sites.
    On checking the backlinks to a specifi page I find this:
    Yahoo reports this link linking to my page...
    www.my-opposition.com/visit.php?id=1170
    but when I click on the link it directs straight to our sites home page.

    WTF?? What are they trying to do? what do they achieve by doing this?

    (Wasn't sure where to post this... hope its the right place)

    Right now that domain doesn't resolve.

    My guess is that you replaced the domain name with my-opposition so as not to give the url away?

    Thanks for using SeoElite too by the way, hope you are happy with it.

    If you are not linking to them, then it can't really hurt your rankings. Let them link and re-direct to you all they like.
