Lets say you have your link on a hi pr site 5 times. Would that mean you would get 5 backlinks from that same domain or do you only get 1 backlink per domain meaning in this case you would get 1. Witch is it?
as of my experience and what I have read about it, you will get 5 backlinks but not with the same weight as a unique link since all backlinks come from the same IP.
Hi, It would count as single backlinks for google thats why about all link builders or webmasters try to collect links from different IP. If your links are place at different page then it can give you some weight (Due to different contents) but 5 times at single page can give you only single backlinks. Backlinks at different page can convenience SEs that you site is a bit important but still top SEs will count it as single backlinks. I think yahoo or bing can count these as 5 links and thats why if you will check number of backlinks in google and yahoo then yahoo will show more backlinks than google (I think this can be reason). Thanks
weight or link juice like a lot of people like to name it too. ok... if your site has a PR of e.g. 2 and you get a backlink to your site from a PR5 so this site will give you some of the PR5 power, weight, juice or whatever you prefer to name it like. the PR5 site is an authority site that attests your site is trustworthy to link to. now don't get all over excited because it's not that outragious much but surely enough to help you building up more PR on your site and for sure enough for google to recognize it positive too. so the more "link juice you can get from different websites, the better it will be for you. also you should know that links coming from a theme related site are more worth than from a site that really is far away from the theme of your site. e.g. Sports to Sports = Good SEO to Pet Supplies = Less another aspect of how much link juice you get is how many links point to that site and how many links go outbound. the more incoming links and less outgoing links the more power. then you should be aware that every link that goes outbound from your site will weaken your site a little bit again. that's why most webmaster prefer one way links instead of reciprocal links. for more information, since I'm kind of a newbie myself too, just keep reading in this forum and also check google on the subject. can't remember anymore what website it was, that explained this subject really good, in words and with supporting graphics. take care and good luck verdecove
isellpr.com is a great service for getting backlinks. It costs money, but you also have a value on your time, so you need to calculate how many hours you spend to get an actual backlink. You may find out it wasn`t worth all the hassle.
