what we mean by nofollow is that there is a tag within the html code that search engine spiders read, it is placed before a link and then the spid will stop at this link and move onto the next line of code within the html document. sites use this to stop people reducing their pagerank by adding spammy links to bad networks.

The webpage http://bebo.com/Pagerankedlinks is a valid 'PageRank not assigned'. Yes, that's worse than a PR0.

Can you sell links on bebo? Well, technically anyone can. But only for traffic reasons, and the traffic would have to be good quality traffic. Why? Bebo won't pass pagerank to you as it uses redirects. Myspace, on the otherhand, does work, one of my sites has a PR5 link from myspace

 

just lo let you know that myspace now uses msplinks.com to redirect every link through their site. only links placed on myspace pages before this system was implemented still pass on page rank - so what ever you do, never ever ever EVER update that myspace profile otherwise it will all be lost.
