Supposedly inxs(music group) ties up with another artists and i write about that on my site and i use their picture from their homepage. Does it come under fair use?
No, not really fair use. Fair use covers reviews, news stories - that sort of thing. A lot of people wouldn't consider this newsworthy I hate to say!
no but litteraly. It IS news if you have a look at it...since news stories can go. I think even this should be under fair use. Please correct me if i'm wrong
I'm just telling you I don't think it's fair use - a lot of photographer charge top dollar for their images of stars like inxs - they probably wouldn't consider it fair use either.
