    Hello everyone,

    Could you, please, review one of my websites. It’s http://www.oxyshare.com
    The website offers file - hosting service absolutely free of charge. It has been developed specially for easy and fast sharing of large-sized files. Notwithstanding the fact it is relatively new, it has already acquired a decent reputation among web surfers. We set as our primary goal to provide our users with convenient interface and good technical characteristics. We are proud to announce that we have already offered such convenient features as:
    -FTP that allows to upload files easier and faster;
    -MyOxy feature that provides users with a great deal of options to handle their files, including adding their files to a list, deleting those got useless, adding description of the files, sorting of the files, keeping some files’ stats and others;
    -A blog where we let people look at our file – hosting service from inside, put their comments on the service and receive our responses.
    -Abuse and feedback sections where the users may respectively report about any infringement of our terms and conditions and get our help if needed.

    Anyway, it is just our subjective sentiment about what we do. We need your unbiased judgment of our website.
    Besides, I would be very much obliged if you could take time and try our website in action. Here is the link by using which you can download some useful software for free.

    Could you, please, report how easy and fast it was to do it for you.

    Thank you all in advance,

    Connie

    I used your service before. Not really satisfied with the download speed... it is stated as 70kb/s without premium. But in reality, no one can actually go over 20kb/s speed. Like I said, I used to use it til my members told me to switch over to other providers. Other than that, your FTP server is pretty stable, which is one of the positive factor that the site has.

    I agree with the above poster. The download speed is the main problem here. I couldnt get more than 20 KB/sec.:mad: :mad:

    My suggestion :
    - Increase the download speed. 80-100 KB would be reasonable.
    - The "Download" link. Sometimes the download link just wont work. It will just refresh the same page over and over again. I suggest you to take a look in this matter, because it's very annoying.

    Thank you both for your comments.
    Unfortunately I have to agree with you both regarding the speed. Also, I have to admit that it is an important aspect of file - hosting service.
    But what I also may be proud to state that we have already overcome speed problems and reached the speed range Andy outlined in his post. Hopefully we'll keep it on.

    Are you serious? If the downloading speed really goes as high as 80kb-100kb/s, I will be using your service again.

    Edit: I just tried your service again just now. The speed is at 29kb/s (max) and the annoying problem andy pointed out is still there. I am using firefox and when I click on the file to download (after the timer), I got refreshed back to the original download page again.

    Well, actually, the speed may depend on some objective factors and connection type, but what I can say for sure is that we regained a decent speed both for uploading and downloading.

    It's just to test the downloading speed of our file - hosting site.

    Alternatively, if you have some spare time I invite you just to take a look at it and offer your review.

    Thanks,

    Connie

    Can't really test it properly if I can't even start the download. ;)
