Does the method you use to create a site matter with the SE?

I don't think, if how you build a site matters. You can use any of the scripts to build your site.

 

Bethlk...I think the problem is that know one knows! We cannot find out if the Search Engines are looking negatively on sites built with premade software like BANS, Sitebuilder elite or others. That info is somewhat secretive.

In my opinion, I would think Google DOES not look negatively on premade type sites, but none of us knows. I would think Google 'robot' programs could only read things like if you had a 'wordpress' or 'BANS' logo or wording on your site, like in the footer, (which is why I remove all of those from my wordpress sites).

Being a programmer myself, I would find it highly unlikely that Google or other SE's care at all if you have the same layout as other websites, nor would I find it likely that they could even program for that! With only so many layouts available they would be shooting themsleves in the foot to ever try to stop that.

So an educated guess is that "NO" the method you use to create a site does not matter. Although good practice would be to remove all references to the software that created your site if possible..like "wordpress", "BANS", "SiteBuilder Elite", etc., just in case!

 

Can you answer one questions, because i don't know if i got your point.

I can't answer it cause script and tools are two different things. I was telling here to use own skill to build a page because this practice will help to make any page at own style...I meant as you want. Using some tools to make website may tie your skills from this web programming environment if you not careful about it. But I also recommended the use FP, DW etc. because we never want to do hard work for a simple coding which we can do easily by these third party software. As you asked, without scripting....we can't built any page where we wanna use functions etc. Scripts are only the way to use client variables and server variables or functions on a web page. So whether I recommended it or not......but we've to use it cause no other way left for us.
