Hello since you cant put images beside text ads, what about this idea? It seems like it would help CTR? Just trying different things since my ctr is only 1-1.4% Thanks Tyler
No i mean does it attract you to the text links, just like putting a picture beside, remember back then you could do that?
Your CTR rate is so low because you are running a proxy site. They always have bad CTRs. Why does every other person on this forum have a proxy site?
And you think its better on the left then the right? Because people look left first so maybe they will just click the picture?
That IS illegal - Google has posted it some time ago on its official blog. The variety of CTR which is based on image or text ads is mostly dependent on the layout of the page.
taht might work but remember, you need good content on your pages to attract good ads and people before you get the clicks
Yea, problem it is a proxy site so not much content lol. Its working nicely, im working with 4 companies, evens it out nicely With CPM and CPC etc
When it comes to proxy sites you will never have a good ctr. I while back I looked a starting a few proxy sites but did not because of fear from being smart priced.

Please check out proxified pages to and tell me what you think, and for some reason the ads arent (Together) in proxified pages, i cant figure out why but see for yourself And i forgot to ask, are images beside Adbrite ads allowed? Waffleguy its not a grey area, its using the googles adsense image beside a text! And i been doing tests, having the picture on the RIGHT side, and the text on the left has increased my CTR, it is 2.10% on a proxy thats good Tyler
In the past using images did help me a bit. But after so many bans I moved away from it. No need to temp fate.
