Does The Duplicate Content Filter Apply To Landing Pages?

Same question as title. Does Google's duplicate content filter apply to Adwords landing pages?

If so to what extent do they penalize your ppc for?

Yes it does, it effects your quality score. I would imagine the severity would vary.

 

I've never heard this before, but it's a good question.

My gut feeling is that it doesn't matter since your paying for traffic.

I've typically use plr articles for my adwords ppc landing pages and my quality score per keyword is normally good-great.

I'll have to try and write something unique and see if my campaigns improve. You never really know until you test things out for yourself.

Recommends to do not have duplicated content - For me is obviously that it is considered on QS calculation or would be easy to just copy and paste to have content on your page.
