Does the day/date of click have an effect on the price?

First of all, I've only been using adsense for the past month so I apologise if this has already been covered before.

For the past weeks I have noticed a dramatic increase in click value on the weekends. My number of clicks are pretty constant each day (+-5).

During the working week I generate about $5 a day with lets say 15 clicks (its something like that, cant remember exactly). Yet on the weekends I generate about $20-$30 with roughly the same amount of clicks.

I've also been using channels and looking at the reports it seems as though the clicks are also coming from the same pages/adsense units.

This was cemented even more after the long bank holiday weekend (fri, sat, sun, mon - in the uk) when I received the same $20-$30 per day and then today (tuesday) I dropped back down to around $5...

Has anyone else noticed this or can offer any explanation? I'm stumped...

    Thanks everyone

The source of the traffic might be the answer . Traffic from US / Canada brings more money as compared to other countries .

Date/Day/etc. can all play a big role in CPC depending on the niche, but more importantly on the advertiser.

Can you give any reasons or for instances of why the date/day might affect the cpc?

Also, why does the niche affect this?

For instance, my website is to do with l caravans?

Sorry for the questions, it just helps me piece everything together so I can start to understand how everything works,

    Thanks

Thats pretty interesting, I have no idea what could cause it. Maybe people think of certain things more on saturday and sunday.

I normally get less earnings on Saturday and Sunday because the traffic is naturally less.
