Hi, Well I wish to provide a web building service to some clients in Australia but my server is located in America, will this affect them being indexed on Google.com.au? It will of course be a .au domain as well. Thanks a lot
No, it shouldn't. Is the domain.com? Google focuses more on extensions more then where the hosting is located. Not unless the whole box is sandboxed from google. But you really need to piss of BIG G for that one.

google don't care where your site server located... once your site got .au in it domain name and google will automatically inex your site under australian server...
