    Hi,

Well I wish to provide a web building service to some clients in Australia but my server is located in America, will this affect them being indexed on Google.com.au?
It will of course be a .au domain as well.
    Thanks a lot

    No, it shouldn't.

    Is the domain.com?

Google focuses more on extensions more then where the hosting is located. Not unless the whole box is sandboxed from google. But you really need to piss of BIG G for that one.

IF the domain hosted by you is .au then you no need to worry about anything.
google automatically index your site under Australian server

google don't care where your site server located...

yes, specially when the datacenter not have all the data. Google not mirror data on all data centers.

    Hi,

Generally speaking, hosting place would not affect indexing on search engines. If you could increase backlinks from Australia sources, it would be really helpful for prompt indexing and ranking purpose.

    all the best,
