Does the amount of posts on your main page affect adsense?

I changed the number of posts to be shown from 12 to 3 and now all of my adense ads are back to generic Google ads.

    I am using Blogger.....

Is that the reason for the ad changes....reducing the # of posts shown?

I'm thinking maybe now there are less keywords?

How long have you been waiting for them to change? I would say give it a few hours atleast.
You should have something original on the frontpage anyways, something that isnt on the other pages, a description of the site or something like that :)

you can only have one article and still get related ads. sometimes when you make a change, it takes a little bit of time for google to start showing relevant ads again.

I guess it does effect the adserving.
It happened to me also and I reduced it to four and the ads were appearing fine.

1 or 2 articles with very specific topic and higher keyword density is better.
